Rockstar Games has officially declared the pre-order period for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), a title eagerly awaited by the entire world. According to the announcement, the game will be available for pre-order this month across both digital platforms and select retail stores. Alongside this exciting news, GTA 6's long-speculated official cover art has also been revealed to the public for the very first time. The countdown has officially begun! As per Rockstar's designated schedule, Grand Theft Auto VI will meet players on November 19th. Gamers, particularly those owning PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, will be able to place their pre-orders starting June 25th. However, Rockstar Games has yet to provide a clear statement regarding the PC platform's release date, maintaining anticipation among PC players. While the pre-order process for Grand Theft Auto VI has commenced, speculation surrounding the game's market price continues. Industry analysts had recently predicted that GTA 6 might launch with a price tag ranging between $80 and $100. Nevertheless, Rockstar Games refrained from disclosing the final retail price in its pre-order announcement. According to information shared by Rockstar Games alongside the cover art, Grand Theft Auto VI is set to be the series' most ambitious and comprehensive installment to date. The game promises a colossal open world extending from the vibrant neon-lit streets of iconic Vice City to various regions within the vast state of Leonida. At the heart of the narrative are two main characters, reminiscent of a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde, engaged in a criminal partnership. These characters, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, are also visible in the newly released cover art. Rockstar Games first officially confirmed the development process of Grand Theft Auto VI in 2022. The game's highly acclaimed first official trailer, which garnered global attention, was released in late 2023. Although an initial target of 2025 was mentioned in early promotions, the release date was later revised, first to May 26th, 2026, and then finally to November 19th, 2026.
